Buff Brahma
The Buff Brahma is a gentle giant beloved for its calm temperament, striking feather patterns, and impressive size. With their golden buff bodies, black laced neck and tail feathers, and signature feathered legs, Buff Brahmas are one of the most eye-catching and elegant breeds available. Their regal appearance combined with their sweet disposition makes them a favorite for families, hobby farms, and show enthusiasts.
Despite their size, Buff Brahmas are known for being exceptionally gentle, quiet, and easygoing, making them excellent additions to backyard flocks. They are hardy birds that tolerate cold weather extremely well thanks to their dense feathering. Brahmas tend to be slower to mature, but once laying, hens produce 150–200 medium to large brown eggs per year, often continuing to lay reliably through colder months when other breeds slow down.
Their friendly nature, cold-hardiness, and striking beauty make the Buff Brahma an ideal choice for anyone wanting a calm, ornamental, and productive breed.
