Hey everyone, I’m new here and just starting my nursing program. I was wondering if anyone could give me advice on nursing badge cards? I found this site, https://studyinnursing.com/product-category/nursing-badge-cards/, that sells medical badge cards, but I’m not sure which ones are the most useful for beginners like me. Do you think these are worth buying, and if so, which ones would you recommend? Any tips for a newbie would be super helpful!

Hey! Great question. I’ve been in nursing for a few years now, and I can tell you that medical badge cards can be a real lifesaver, especially when you're just starting out. They’re designed to give you quick access to essential information right at your fingertips. Looking at the site you shared, it seems like they offer a solid variety of cards that cover different topics, from basic vitals to advanced medical concepts.

For a beginner, I’d recommend starting with the essentials—like the basic assessment and vital signs cards. Those are things you’ll use every day. As you get more comfortable, you can expand into more specialized cards, like those for medications or lab values. Trust me, having these cards during clinicals or in fast-paced situations will help you feel more confident and organized. The visual layout on the cards also makes it easy to digest complex info quickly, which is super helpful when you're on the go. Definitely worth the investment, especially when you're juggling so much new knowledge.
