What's the real difference between all these different peptides?

Okay, I'm officially overwhelmed. I've been trying to do some research on peptides, and it feels like I'm drowning in alphabet soup. BPC-157, TB-500, GHRP-6, IGF-1... the list goes on and on. Can anyone explain in simple terms what the key differences are between these different types of peptides, and what they're each supposed to do? Is there a cheat sheet or something that breaks it all down? I am trying to understand what I am actually putting into my body!
