Do I need to have any skills to use a 3D printer, if we’re talking about starting a business?

I’m not an engineer, I don’t know modeling, but I’ve got some business ideas. Basically, I just want to know if I can get by with basic knowledge. Maybe modern printers are automated enough that I can manage on my own.

Let’s not forget that modern 3D printers have become way “smarter” and more automated. Things like automatic calibration, solid software, pre-made material profiles and stuff like that make using the printer way easier. All of that is there in printers like epitum, and you can find more info about them on the Epitum official website. But again, I think this would only cover the basics. If you need a printer for yourself, not for business or production, then sure. But if it’s for stable production and you’ve got zero background in 3D printing, it’s better to hire a specialist to handle the tech side of things.
