T20 Mumbai League
The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) has made it ‘mandatory’ for all their Indian players to take part in their T20 Mumbai League. The MCA has also decided to make India’s ODI and Test captain – Rohit Sharma as their ‘Face of the League’.
The Indian Express understands that all current Indian players including Ajinkya Rahane, Suryakumar Yadav, Shreyas Iyer, Shivam Dube, Prithvi Shaw, Shardul Thakur have been informed that if they are not picked for England tour, they have to play the league. All India players like Yadav, Iyer and Dube had already expressed their willingness play in the league.
