The Dangers of Dirty Dryer Vents

I always thought that it was enough to simply clean the filter in the dryer, but recently I encountered an unpleasant situation - the laundry began to dry longer, and the device itself was heating up more than usual. Can a clogged ventilation duct really affect the operation of the dryer so much? Should I call the professionals or can I somehow clean it myself?

Many people don’t realize how dangerous dirty dryer vents can be. Beyond reducing efficiency, they can actually become a fire hazard if not cleaned regularly. Proper maintenance not only saves energy but also keeps your home safe. I recently came across Universal Services and saw they highlight this issue too. Have you ever had problems with dryer vents, and how often do you clean them?
