The installers helped us choose flagstone with a natural cleft finish that works perfectly for walkways and seating areas. It’s not slippery, even when wet, and blends into the landscape beautifully. They also helped with drainage around the stone to prevent pooling. While it’s more expensive than concrete upfront, it doesn’t crack and really doesn’t need much upkeep other than the occasional rinse. Totally worth considering if you’re going for that organic, upscale vibe.
